Olienzo runs a deliberately quiet website. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. This page explains what we do use, why, and how to manage it.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Browsers also offer related storage mechanisms — most notably local storage — which work the same way from a privacy standpoint: the site can read what it previously wrote on your device.
For the purposes of this policy, we treat both cookies and local storage entries the same way and describe them together below. Both are scoped to the domain that set them; olienzo.com cannot read cookies or storage set by other websites, and vice versa.
olienzo.com writes only two entries to your browser's local storage, both essential to the operation of the site. We do not set any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies of our own.
Stores your selected interface language so the site loads in the same language on your next visit. Set when you choose a language from the selector in the header.
Records your response to the cookie banner — either essential or all — so the banner does not appear again on subsequent visits. Either choice produces the same behaviour today, because the site uses only essential storage.
Neither entry contains personal information. Neither is shared with, or accessible to, any third party.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests these files, Google receives the standard information any web request reveals — primarily your IP address and browser headers. Google does not set tracking cookies via this channel for this use, but the network request itself is unavoidable while the typefaces remain externally hosted.
We use no other third-party services on this site: no analytics, no tag managers, no advertising networks, no embedded social media, no chat widgets, no fingerprinting, and no remarketing pixels.
Because all storage on olienzo.com is strictly functional, there is nothing for you to opt out of in terms of tracking. You can, however, manage what we have written to your browser at any time:
If we ever introduce additional cookies or third-party services — for example basic, privacy-respecting analytics — this policy will be updated first, and the cookie banner will be re-displayed so you can review your choice. Questions about this policy can be sent via the contact form.
